Who is Today’s Giving magazine about?

It’s about you and the endless opportunities available for positive changes in your community. It’s about the trememdous work of the nonprofit community that provides countless quality of life services and a myriad of other assets that make our region unique. It’s about the individuals who routinely volunteer their time, skills and financial resources to imporve their community with self-fulfillment being their only reward.

To improve the quantity and quality of all chairtable contributions by sharing timely, relevant knowledge about successful giving practices
To assist individuals, groups and agencies in achieving their unique objectives through skilled guidance regardless of contribution interest and size
To inspire charitable actions and support of organizations that enhance the well-being of people across our region

What will Today’s Giving magazine contain?

We’ll share stories ranging from the wealthy native son or daughter who made the medical center come to fruition, to kids collaborating to aid the less fortunate. You’ll see yourself, your brother, sisiter, mom or dad in the story of a retired school teacher who spends her weekday mornings reading the newspaper to the elderly at the local nursing home. These unique stories of inspiration, service and sharing will inspire you.
